Eco Sharpening Stone

€14,50
This sharpening stone is a 100% natural sharpening stone from the Belgian Ardennes. Due to special geological quirks of nature, this stone contains about 35-40% garnet. This ensures excellent sharpening properties for sharpening your (pocket) knives. Handy for your camping and outdoor gear.

The variation in shapes arises because the company works as sustainably as possible and in this way no leftovers are left. The yellow stone is glued to a slate surface for more grip and strength (it has no grinding function)

  • Brand: Ardennes-Coticule, the origin of this stone started around 1865 by various families in Belgium for local use. Mrs. Burton decided to start a company with 10 workers after 1865 to further expand sales. In 1998, Genk mining engineer Maurice Celis decided to continue under the name alone full-time Ardennes-Coticule. Everything according to tradition and with the love for traditional crafts.
