Bowl biocircular 700 ml - Koziol

€5,00

This innovative new material is made from bio-circular thermoplastics and wood fibers. The circular thermoplastics are extracted from recycled sunflower and rapeseed oil from industry and gastronomy. The oils are collected and converted in a special recycling process. This is the first time that these materials have been put to further use in a sensible way; previously they could only be recycled thermally. Moreover, no additional "new" resources are required.
The added wood fibers come from trees left over from forest maintenance and paper production waste.

All wood comes from Europe and is FSC® certified. The new material combines the positive properties of wood, such as insulating properties and naturalness, with the advantages of thermoplastics, including elasticity, lightness and individual colorability. The material is free of melamine, BPA and bamboo, of course food safe and fully recyclable.

* Thermoplastic is a relatively environmentally friendly material. In the sense that it is 100% recyclable and better than regular plastic, which can release toxic substances. Thermoplastic is food safe, so it is very suitable for tableware (which gets hot). The disadvantage is that it remains a type of plastic and is not a natural material.
